 Mission Statement

The market was set up to promote and encourage the growing, making, rearing, and selling of local produce and products.  We wish to advance the move toward more natural products and chemical-free practices, while at the same time encouraging the local population to value, support and spend on locally grown and produced products. 

We would like to see friendly interaction between all involved with the Farmers Market and foster a positive atmosphere of a lively, busy, social weekly event.  We value exceptional quality, diversity, local and home-made products.

Permission to hold raffles can be obtained from Nova Scotia Licensing: Alcohol and Gaming Division, PO Box 545, Dartmouth, B2Y 3Y8 – 877-565-0556.  There is no fee but a permit number is necessary.
